AI Readiness Check — Privacy Policy

What the extension accesses

When you click the AI Readiness Check toolbar icon on a web page, the extension inspects that one page and its site, on that single click, to compute a readiness score. Specifically it reads:

• The page’s own metadata already present in the page (title, meta description, canonical link, robots meta tag, and JSON-LD structured data).
• The site’s robots.txt, llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and sitemap.xml files, fetched from the same site you are viewing.

This happens only when you click the icon, only for the active tab, and only for the site in that tab.

What the extension does NOT do

• It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or usage data.
• It does not send the page contents, your browsing history, or any results to watchLLMs or any third party.
• It does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting.
• It does not run in the background or on pages you have not explicitly clicked it on.
• It does not sell or share any data, because it holds none.

All checks run locally in your browser and the results are shown only in the popup. When you close the popup, nothing is retained.

Permissions

• activeTab — lets the extension read the current page only when you click the icon.
• scripting — lets the extension run its readiness checks in the current tab on that click.

The extension requests no host permissions and no other access.

The link to watchLLMs

The popup includes a link to watchllms.com. Clicking it opens our website in a new tab, exactly like any other link. We do not receive any data from the extension itself; a standard web visit to our site is governed by the privacy policy on watchllms.com.
